2. Local Data Storage

All data required for the operation of the App is stored exclusively locally on your own device. This includes:

• Your selected RSS sources, favorite articles, and locally created notes.
• Cached images and article content for fast display and offline viewing.

This data is never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party. You can clear this data at any time through your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

3. External Connections and Third-Party Services

When using the App, your device establishes direct connections with external servers to fetch content:

• News Sources / RSS Feeds: When refreshing feeds, your device creates a direct HTTPS connection with the servers of the respective publishers and websites.
• Icons & Favicons (Google Favicon API): The App uses the Google Favicon service (www.google.com/s2/favicons) to automatically retrieve website logos and icons.
• Podcast Search (Apple iTunes API): When searching for podcasts, the App may use Apple's public iTunes Search API.
• In-App Browser (WebView): When opening an article inside the App, the privacy policy and cookie settings of the respective news website apply.

During these direct network requests, third-party servers may receive your IP address and standard HTTP request headers, as is standard with any web request.

4. Device Permissions

The App only requests access to device features when strictly necessary for functionality:

• Internet Access (INTERNET): Required to fetch news articles, RSS feeds, and images.
• Photo Library / Storage (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription / NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription): Optional. Only required if you choose to select your own custom image as a background/logo, or if you explicitly save an image or file to your device's photo gallery.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / Privacy Rights)

Since we do not collect, process, or store any personal data on external servers, we have no access to your personal information. You maintain 100% full control over your data directly on your device.
